This policy applies to CaniSense (www.canisense.com), its online client portal, and affiliated platforms. “I,” “me,” or “my” refers to CaniSense, owned and operated solely by Raphael Caupin.

As part of my services, I collect only the personal data necessary to provide safe and effective dog behaviour consultations. This includes:

Phone number

Postal address
Booking history and service preferences
Information voluntarily shared regarding your dog(s)

No financial information is stored on my systems. Payment is handled securely through third-party providers.

4. Why and How I Use Your Data

Your personal data is used only for legitimate and limited purposes:

To manage bookings and deliver services
To communicate with you (e.g. scheduling, reminders, updates)
To maintain basic client records
To comply with administrative or legal obligations (e.g. invoices)

While no system is ever 100% secure, I take reasonable precautions and encourage you to do the same — for example, by using strong passwords and securing your email account.

7. Data Processing Register

As required under GDPR Article 30, I maintain a private Data Processing Register, which documents the limited scope of data processing I perform. This includes your name, contact information, appointment details, and any behavioural information you voluntarily share about your dog. This register is kept up to date and available to the CNPD upon request.

8. Communication

I will communicate with you via email and/or through the client portal. Please make sure your contact details are accurate and up to date.

CaniSense will never request sensitive details such as passwords, banking PINs, or verification codes via email or phone.

9. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the data I hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict processing
